Health, Now! Clinic of Madison County, Inc., is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt, charitable organization established to provide primary health care in a spirit of Christian caring to the uninsured and under-insured individuals and families in the Richmond, Kentucky, and Madison County community.
We opened our doors August 12, 2005, in a small office rented at Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center. The clinic was started by 2 local churches in the community. The City of Richmond has graciously granted monies each year (through 2008) for our existence—truly a community partner.
In July, 2007, HNC had the opportunity to move the clinic downtown to a more central location for the clientele. This building was located at 110 Collins Street. With this move, the clinic realized a threefold increase in the number of office visits.
On June 20, 2009, HNC was able to occupy space in City Hall. This space has afforded us much needed secure areas to store sample medications, medical equipment, and provide more exam rooms to increase the flow of patients through the clinic.
